StayVue was founded with one simple goal: to create greater transparency and peace of mind between short-term rental hosts and their guests.
The idea for StayVue came from my own experiences as a wife, a full-time professional, and most importantly, a mother of three.
Every time our family stayed in a vacation rental, I found myself thinking about safety. I appreciated when hosts had exterior security cameras, but I wished there were a secure way for guests to temporarily see what the host sees without compromising the host's privacy or control.
That simple idea became StayVue.
StayVue allows hosts to securely share temporary, view-only access to approved exterior smart cameras during an active reservation.
Whether it's confirming you've arrived at the correct property, checking on your vehicle or belongings while you're away, or simply feeling more comfortable knowing you can view the exterior of the home while your family is inside, StayVue helps provide greater confidence throughout your stay.

Hosts decide which exterior cameras are shared and when access begins and ends. Guests cannot control cameras, change device settings, or access recordings, and access automatically expires at the end of the reservation.
