1. Overview
StayVue ("StayVue", "we", "us") operates the StayVue property monitoring platform, including our website, mobile app, and API services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our Service.
We act as a data controller for account and usage data, and as a data processor for video footage and property data you store on our platform on behalf of your guests and tenants.

3. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data to:

We do not sell your personal data or your video footage to third parties. We do not use your footage to train AI models.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed by us.
- Guest Access: When you grant a guest or staff member access, they can view the specific cameras you authorise for the duration you set.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred. We will notify you before any such transfer.
5. Development Partner and Technical Service Provider
StayVue has engaged TekRevol LLC (“TekRevol”) as its authorized software development partner and technical service provider for the design, development, maintenance, integration, and technical support of the StayVue platform and associated applications.
As part of this engagement, TekRevol is authorized by StayVue to perform technical activities on StayVue’s behalf, including the implementation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and support of third-party services and APIs, including Google APIs, Google Cloud services, Google OAuth, Google Home APIs, and other Google services utilized by the StayVue platform, where applicable.
TekRevol may access systems, development environments, application configurations, API credentials, and limited user information only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide these development and technical services. Any such access is performed solely on behalf of and under the direction and authorization of StayVue and is subject to applicable confidentiality, security, and data-protection requirements.
StayVue remains the owner and operator of the StayVue platform and is responsible for determining how user information is collected and used. TekRevol does not independently own, sell, or use StayVue or Google user data for its own commercial purposes.
For purposes of technical integration, application verification, API configuration, troubleshooting, security review, and communication with third-party service providers, including Google, TekRevol is expressly authorized to represent StayVue in its capacity as StayVue’s development and technical integration partner.
6. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on servers located in secure, ISO 27001-certified data centres. Video footage is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
We implement industry-standard security measures including multi-factor authentication, intrusion detection, regular penetration testing, and access logging. However, no system is completely immune to security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention periods:
- Video footage: Retained according to your plan (7, 30, or 90 days), then automatically deleted
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after closure
- Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
- Support communications: Retained for 3 years
- Audit logs: Retained for 12 months
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8). Some data may be retained where required by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (see our Data Deletion Policy)
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain processing activities, including direct marketing
- Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances

StayVue operates globally and your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the UAE, EU, and USA. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by applicable law.
